ABOUT US:
Colonial Carpet one was originally established in 1987 by Kirk and Lori Thibault as Over the Edge, Ltd. The store first began as a custom rug design, binding and cleaning business and was operated out of their family garage until the high demand for their services prompted their move. Their move brought them to 3635 Boulevard in Colonial Heights Virginia where the store remains and operates today.
In 1999 the Thibaults joined with the Carpet One Corporation in order to provide better customer service and satisfaction. This nationally known organization afforded them the ability to offer a larger variety of products and more competitive pricing while still featuring that original foundation of personal service.
The Thibaults are also advocates of community service. Colonial Carpet One has had the opportunity and privilege through the years to continuously serve the community through the sponsorship of athletic programs and Breast Cancer awareness programs with various donations of sales as well as products.
